Nedum Type Specimen Book
I was very interested in, as Jon Chapman-Smith points out, the emotional response people have to printed content. The book’s identity has to complement the typeface, so, as the typeface is economical, the book is reinforcing that message educating on matters of sustainability and its urgency in relation to design practice.
The book is featuring the ‘Neenah’ range of GF Smith paper, which is 100% recycled and, as I see type design as an experimental practice, the book takes a curious and explorative approach to layout design and the ways books are made and presented.
